Katie is a Licensed Associate Counselor with experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders, depression, anxiety, mood disorders and trauma. She takes particular interest in working with adolescent and young-adult women, helping them navigate chaotic emotions, reclaim boundaries in relationships, and align with their authentic self. Katie is also experienced in meditation guidance, and working with individuals exploring spirituality.
Katie’s approach to therapy is soulful and holistic, integrating traditional therapeutic modalities with psychospiritual approaches to address the whole person, mind-body-spirit. She works with clients to co-create a therapeutic space built on a foundation of trust, where all aspects of self can be explored. Her style incorporates various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. These methods are then complimented by her background in meditation instruction and spiritual guidance to integrate all aspects of experience.
Katie’s intention is that therapy will be an opportunity for clients to reconnect to their own inner guidance, so they can move forward in life with clarity and authenticity.
