Amanda is a Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Amanda obtained her Master’s degree from Rutgers University of Social Work and completed a certificate program in Violence Against Women and Children. Amanda has extensive experience working with high risk and high needs children and families in the Middlesex County area. Amanda currently works full-time as a Care Manager Supervisor for a non-profit Care Management Organization (CMO) providing case management, assessment, and crisis stabilization to youth and families impacted by mental health.

Amanda’s clinical background developed in her work with individuals, groups, and families across various settings including school-based counseling, residential treatment, and in-home therapeutic services. Amanda’s interests and specialties include working with children, adolescents, and adults confronted with anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and trauma. Amanda uses a variety of evidenced based modalities including client centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic, and family systems. In working with children and adolescents, Amanda also incorporates play and art therapies. Amanda recognizes that each client presents with their own unique experiences and will tailor treatment to meet the client’s specific needs.

As a clinician, Amanda’s goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space for the client to feel seen, heard, and validated. Using a strengths-based approach, Amanda seeks to empower her clients to find their inner voice and begin their journey of healing. Amanda views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership where she and the client are working together, as a team, to help the client reach their goals and full potential. Facing life’s challenges alone can be overwhelming, but together, we can find the path to growth, healing, and joy.
